Medication support for current patients

Prescription refill support for your pet

Keeping medication consistent matters. Contact our team before you run out so we can review the request, your pet’s records and any monitoring that may be due.

How we can help

Care built around the individual pet.

Your veterinarian will recommend an approach based on examination findings, medical history and the priorities you share with us.

Record review

We confirm the medication, dose, prescribing instructions and whether the prescription remains appropriate.

Safety monitoring

Some medications require a current examination or periodic bloodwork before they can be renewed.

Clear pickup direction

Our team will let you know when a refill is approved and ready, or what follow-up is needed first.

What to expect

A clear plan from first call to follow-up.

Send the details

Provide your name, pet’s name, medication, strength, current dose and how much remains.

Veterinary review

The medical record is checked for refill eligibility, monitoring needs and prescribing requirements.

Confirmation

Wait for our team to confirm approval and pickup timing before travelling to the clinic.

Good to know

Please request refills before the medication runs out

Refills are not always immediate because a veterinarian may need to review the record, authorize the prescription or recommend an examination or testing. Planning ahead helps prevent interruptions in treatment. Do not change or stop medication without veterinary guidance.

Common questions

Helpful answers before your visit.

Can every prescription be refilled by phone?

No. Approval depends on the medication, medical condition, last examination, monitoring requirements and the veterinary-client-patient relationship.

What information should I provide?

Include your pet’s name, medication name and strength, dose, frequency, remaining amount and the best phone number to reach you.

What if my pet is having side effects?

Do not submit only a routine refill request. Call the clinic promptly to describe the symptoms. Severe reactions or breathing difficulty require emergency care.
